What are matching gift companies?

Many alumni, friends and parents of UW-L work for the thousands of companies that encourage their employees to contribute to institutions of higher education by matching their gifts. You will receive recognition for every dollar you give and every dollar you leverage through a matching gift program. Spouse's employers who offer the matching gift program should be contacted as well!

What does the donor do?
To initiate a matching gift, a donor fills out the company's matching gift form and sends it along with his or her donation to UW-L. Contact your human resource or public relations office to receive a form or find out if your company offers this plan. You may also call the UW-L Foundation office at (608)785-8489 to find out if your company participates in the program.
