WHAT IS THE UW-L FUND?

The UW-La Crosse Fund is the UW-L Foundation's major source of unrestricted dollars and consists of monies raised through our yearly appeal to all alumni, parents and friends. It provides support for scholarships, undergraduate research projects, equipment purchases, faculty/staff development and other special learning opportunities on campus. The UW-L Fund runs from July 1 through June 30 and is sustained through our phonathons, direct mail appeals and special events such as the Foundation's golf outing and tuition raffles. The success of the UW-L Fund is due to the strong base of alumni, parents and friends who understand the importance of participating year after year.

A gift to the UW-L Fund is tax deductible to the full extent of the law as applied to the donor's individual circumstances. Your support of the UW-L Fund will help offset the continuing decreases in state assistance and ensure that we sustain the margin of excellence at UW-La Crosse.
